MCCA & MetMUnch stall
MCCA’s activity for all ages poses three climate change questions! Everyone is encouraged to write their answers on a card ‘leaf’ and hang them on three ornamental trees – building the foliage with their thoughts. MetMUnch explores how our food choices can make a difference to climate change – with fun, thought-provoking games.
MetMUnch is a global award winning, student-led social enterprise based at Manchester Metropolitan University since 2011, at its heart is a passion for sustainable and nutritious food. It provides skills and training to promote nutrition, wellbeing and sustainability, and its students take this and apply it in sessions at the University, community events, or in one-off creative projects.
For 2019’s Festival of Manchester, MetMUnch will be buzzing their way down to Platt Fields Park to highlight the shocking impact of the vanishing bee population, and its impact on global food availability. You won’t bee-lieve it!
